Shams Langroudi's Opinion on "The Dream of a Mad Parisian"

    Shargh Newspaper

In his youth, this short story collection was one of the most mind-blowing genres for him, and he still follows it today. According to him, this work is a rebellion against the established rules of fiction writing, breaking the boundaries between story and non-story, especially in the first story, which clearly demonstrates the author's (Baha Morshedi) talent. Langroudi describes the prose of the book as precise, solid, provocative, and vivid, and emphasizes that Morshedi shows in this collection that he does not want to write according to tradition and intends to break existing norms. He also warns that those accustomed to reading classical works will certainly not be satisfied with this collection, but he recommends it to young readers to experience a different kind of storytelling.
