The Month When Strawberries Turn Red is Baha Morshedi’s first collection of short stories, published by Cheshmeh Publishing House in 2009.

The book consists of 12 short stories written over several years and brought together in a single volume. Its title was taken from one of Abbas Safari’s translations—an expression that later became the title of one of the stories in the collection and eventually the title of the book itself.

Published in a 72-page paperback edition, The Month When Strawberries Turn Red marks Baha Morshedi’s first independently published short story collection. It was the beginning of a literary path that later continued with the publication of other short story collections and novels.
